ACTION CORPORATION LAUNCHES "MERLIN CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT AND SALES TRACKER"
WELLAND, Ontario, March 30, 2004 - Niagara's ACTION Corporation today announced its groundbreaking web analytics platform.
ACTION's sixth service product is called Merlin Metrics, and will help its hotel clients to manage all of their online promotions from one simple web-based user interface, said President Paul Tomori.
The Merlin Campaign Management and Sales Tracker system will provide high-end web analytics in conjunction with ACTION's GuestServe reservation system and its web-based promotions services.
Merlin is designed through a complex algorithm to determine both the uptake of campaigns along with R.O.I. for such campaigns. Much more than just a typical website "hits report", Merlin actually measures revenue on a conversion-by-conversion basis and then ties that revenue to the campaign which gave rise to it.
"In this respect, Merlin becomes a tell-all about which advertising dollars actually drive revenue and which dollars are wasted," explained Tomori. "This is yet another innovation which is closely tied to our other service lines."
